I want a kid that stays that entertained for 4 hours with toys.

Well I guess the secret is out! We are pregnant. After the last miscarriage we waited  a little longer to launch the news about the pregnancy this time. This is a video of our last ultrasound. The doctor’s office got a new machine that has DVD recording of the ultrasound. At the time of this recording Anna is 11 weeks pregnant!

Watching the video pretty much cemented in my head the reality that we are having a baby. To see a life dancing around on a screen shows you there is more than just a blob of tissue in my wife’s stomach. So awesome! The coolest part of the whole video is at the very end when the baby does this little kick! The baby of course has a boney butt just like mine.

NB: We will eventually be launching a baby blog (baby.kedinger.com)…so keep your eyes peeled.

This is a really cool video and song. I wish they had the CD on iTunes. The only way I can find to buy it is through their record label (Just Friends Records) site and it feels kinda of sketchy! Let me know if you find the tunes somewhere else.

Well I picked up the Death Cab for Cutie album last night at Starbucks and at first I was a bit taken back by an album that didn’t strike me as the “good ole death cab” but the album has really grown on me. I think in alot of ways the band is pushing the sound of “Indie Rock” in a bit of a new direction. The album is filled with alot more bass guitar than you usually hear from Death Cab and a little less electronica. I have posted below a video from one of the killer tracks “I Will Possess Your Heart”. Let me know what you think.
